Feasibility Study Review, Preliminary Design Modification, and Preparation of Tender Documents for Pink Line Project, Khae Rai-Min Buri Section

The Pink Line mass rapid transit system, Khae Rai-Min Buri section under Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) will accommodate travel demand in North Bangkok. The Pink Line has been defined as a minor mass transit system in the form of elevated straddle monorail. The Pink Line MRT project starts near Khae Rai intersection, goes along Tiwanon Road and Chaeng Watthana Road, and passes Laksi intersection.

The line then runs along Ram Inthra Road until Min Buri intersection before finally ending at Ramkhamhaeng – Rom Klao intersection. The entire length is about 34.5 kilometres, and the planned project features include 30 stations, a depot and stabling yard, and a park and ride facility at Min Buri station. This study is to review the feasibility study of Pink Line project; Environmental Impact Analysis; survey and updating of additional baseline information and data as necessary; preparation of tender documents for contractor selection and/or proposal documents for train operator selection. Additionay, the work scope includes provision of assistance to the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) in the process of contractor and/or train operator selection.
